To the Editor. —
While reading the book review of Anesthesia and Co-existing Disease,1 I was intrigued by the reference to "Dutch-Kentucky disease," especially because I could find no reference to such a disease entity in the medical dictionaries available to me or in my reprint files. However, my files did provide information about Dutch-Kennedy syndrome. Could this have been the condition the author of the book review really meant to name?
