To the Editor.—

I enjoyed your recent issue¹ on what's new in the various subspecialties of medicine but was disturbed to find that there was no section on vascular surgery, which has now evolved into a distinct subspecialty. It is my recommendation that in future issues a section be devoted to the recent developments in general vascular surgery.
