To the Editor.—
I found the recent article by Bell et al1 about fatal occupational injuries extremely interesting, but I have a question about one of their findings: the large number of homicides among women. The rate was 11% of all fatal injuries for men and 39% for women. The authors made no attempt to clarify this remarkable statistic, despite exhaustive explanations of their methods of data collection and evaluation.
