To the Editor.
—Comings et al1 reported on the presence of the Al allele of the D2 dopamine receptor gene in several large samples of neuropsychiatric disorders frequently associated with alcoholism or believed to involve defects in dopaminergic neurotransmission. Surprisingly, social phobia was not included in the study.
